You didn't offend him. But it's an odd question to ask... I think you can safely deduce by the tone and tenor of most of the conversations here that the users of this forum aren't exactly raving teenagers, rather, people here are more mature than most forums; for example you don't see Youtube style comments. Thus, you can safely conclude that most people here aren't virgins (but we were at one time).
If you are one, more power to you. Don't let society pressure you so much, in retrospect it is overwhelmingly not a big deal anyway.

Ah I am so sorry for asking such a question, but if someone is asking a question then I am sure more people alike would also want to know. Think of it as a classroom, one person raises his hand to ask the teacher a question and the whole classroom benefit from it.
I am a virgin and none of my friends believe me. One even said "What?? I just lost all my respect for you, man." I'm not proud of it or anything, there are things I don't feel comfortable with. Just trying to get a feel on the situation here and starting a few topics. The uncomfortable it is, the better...I think. High school or not, I think real Asian men should be able to tackle any kind of issues, not avoiding it.

Well no worries. Like I said, don't the social pressure get to you. Believe it or not, there are women out there who really respect that you're still a virgin. I'm sure you have your reasons why, or maybe things are difficult in the competitive mating game where you are.
We're here to help... as fellow Asian men. And don't worry, I think Chasca read it wrong that you were probing the women here. (there has been some negative instances with one poster here, so there was precedence.) I can assure you she means well - as evinced by the remainder of her postings here.
I know a lot of Asian families sort of has silence on sexual issues. The children are pretty left to figure things out themselves. Add this with all the social pressure and stigmas and you have quite the cards stacked against you. Just have a positive outlook, and approach every opportunity as a learning experience. Dont' mind that guy that has "lost respect" for you, is his/her opinion really that important?

I just don't think it's an appropriate question to ask of people you don't even know and rather invasive. What you choose to do with your own life though is your business and I won't criticize. I can't comment on it though. |

| dude dont sweat it...how many people u have and have not slept wit is just a number. i know dudes who have slept wit like 75-100 women and i kno dudes that have slept wit like 2-3. the only things that should matter is the girl u are wit at that moment. tho i have to say i would rather have someone that has been wit multiple people rather than none at all. it means more that they been wit other people and they picked u rather then having them be inexperienced and they dont kno no better. it doesnt just relate to sex tho. and i hope u are working on other parts of ur repetphoire(ie foreplay and all that good stuff) if u are tryin not to sleep wit anyone till marriage or anything like that. |

Isn't this topic worthy of it's own thread? I personally think that a dialog on emotional and developmental changes AMs go through as they reach puberty is an important topic, since so many are ill-equipped coming into the game for various reasons, as you rightly pointed out. This way the older people can commiserate about their hindsights/insights, and the lurkers/young guys can just read and absorb.
